“Eid al-Fitr” jatuh pada 1 Syawal mengikut kalendar Islam, iaitu hari berakhir
\npuasa selepas berpuasa selama 1 bulan, popular dipanggilkan “hari berakhir
\npuasa” atau “Raya Puasa” atau “Raya Fitrah”. Hari Raya Aidilfitri adalah hari yang
\npertama bagi berakhir puasa bagi umat Islam, iaitu hari anugerah dan pahala bagi
\nmereka yang lulus ujian tahunan di bulan Ramadhan dengan memaksakan dirinya
\ndengan mengurangkan makan dan minum dan syahwat serta solat Tarawih hampir
\nsatu jam penuh sepanjang malam Ramadhan.
\nPada Hari Raya Aidilfitri, semua umat Islam hendak bangun awal untuk bermandi
\nsunat dan pergi solat Aidilfitri di masjid kampung. Orang Islam suka memakaikan
\npakaian baru dan cantik dan wangi, dan setiap orang diwajibkan mengeluarkan
\nzakat fitrah.
\nHari Raya Aidilfitri, ia adalah hari yang penting bagi umat Islam di seluruh dunia. Ia
\ndianggapkan sebagai hari perayaan tahunan, yang di mana umat Islam telah
\npulang ke kampung halaman dan mengambilkan bahagian dalam upacara
\nkeagamaan bersama-sama berkumpul dengan rakan-rakan dan saudara-mara
\nuntuk memohon maaf antara satu sama lain dan beri penghormatan kepada si
\nmati dan bersihkan tanah perkuburan dan mengedarkan makanan ringan kepada
\nkanak-kanak dan jiran dan memberi makan kepada penduduk kampung. Makanan
\nyang paling popular dihidangkan pada Hari Raya ialah tupa (pulut rebus).<\/p>\n
